PHONEMIC AWARENESS BUBBLES is a valuable tool for enhancing your child's phonemic awareness skills. Extensive research has shown that phonemic awareness plays a pivotal role in predicting reading success (Stanovich, 1986; 1993; Share & Stanovich, 1995).

By using PHONEMIC AWARENESS BUBBLES, your child will be equipped with the necessary foundations for reading. This app focuses on teaching the primary sounds of the alphabet letters, which are crucial building blocks for reading proficiency.

Utilizing PHONEMIC AWARENESS BUBBLES will help your child recognize and differentiate the initial sounds in words, promoting a stronger understanding that words are comprised of sound units called phonemes.

Research has consistently demonstrated that children with strong phonemic awareness outperform their peers with low phonemic awareness across literacy measures. This holds true regardless of whether they received traditional basal instruction or whole language instruction (Griffith, Klesius, & Kromrey, 1992).

The primary objective of PHONEMIC AWARENESS BUBBLES is to develop foundational reading skills for your child. The app effectively cultivates your child's ability to listen attentively and discern sounds at the beginnings of words. For instance, it trains them to identify that the sound /b/ can be heard at the beginning of words like "ball," "bat," and "balloon." By mastering the games offered in this app, your child can establish neural pathways in their brain associated with sound recognition. When they encounter written letters, they will already be familiar with each letter's primary sound. This early exposure facilitates alphabet learning and ensures a smoother transition.

This app concentrates on cultivating pre-letter skills and emphasizes the often overlooked aspect of phonemic awareness. Many children are often not provided explicit instruction on the sounds that the letters represent. In PHONEMIC AWARENESS BUBBLES, only the sounds of the letters are presented, without any reference to the letter names or symbols. Its primary purpose is to help children grasp letter sounds and their functions.

The app features two engaging matching games where children are tasked with identifying images that commence with the same sound. Another game challenges children to eliminate the image that does not share the same starting sound as the others. The final game prompts children to compare two images and determine whether they share the same initial sound.

To add variety and engagement, six mini-games appear randomly after achieving 20 points on the counter throughout gameplay.

Through fun-filled gameplay, PHONEMIC AWARENESS BUBBLES effectively enhances your child's phonemic awareness skills. It provides a supportive platform for your child to learn crucial phonemic concepts while enjoying exciting games.
